Fred Taute MD, MBA

President

Dr Taute brings his over 25 years of healthcare experience to MedCodePIX. Fred founded PracticeAdmin in 1999, where he was instrumental in the design and conceptualization of what was to become one of the early truly web-based practice management systems. Prior to his foray into internet entrepreneurship, Fred was in medical practice as a general practitioner in Canada and South Africa, where he was exposed to the good, the bad and the ugly in medical reimbursement and record keeping systems.

Fred obtained his medical and business degrees at the University of Cape Town.

Tushar Kale PhD

Dr. Tushar Kale has been instrumental in the development of many advanced IT systems including building automated systems for the automobile and steel industries, and E-Commerce systems for several large corporations. He has most recently designed and built a comprehensive healthcare revenue management system which is extensively utilized in the industry. He is an HL7 certified RIM specialist and a member of the Healthcare Information Technology Standards Panel (HISTP). He has also completed the coursework necessary to become a professional medical coder. Tushar joined icdPIX as Director of Engineering in 2009 where he has provided his significant experience and insight for true innovation in healthcare coding.

Tushar obtained his Bachelor's degree from Nagpur University, Masters from the Indian Institute of Science in Bangalore, and his Ph.D. from Oklahoma State University.

Alan Voss

Vice President - Business Development

Alan Voss brings more than 18 years of healthcare-related and business development experience to icdPIX. Previously Voss spent 24 months as senior vice president of Business Development at Clearvision Technology, an Atlanta based technology consulting company where he helped develop telemedicine applications. Prior to that, he served as vice president of sales and marketing at OneWeb Systems for six years, where he established the company’s sales, marketing, strategic partnerships, product development, and sales support infrastructure. Voss originally worked for several years as an engineer at Scientific Atlanta and Southern Research Institute. He began business development for icdPIX in 2009.

Alan holds a BS degree in Engineering Science and Mechanics, and a Masters in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. He has completed the academic requirements for a PhD from the University of Alabama in Birmingham..
