Easy ICD & CPT lookup

MedCodePIX is the developer of a series of products which utilize a patent pending method for ICD or CPT® code lookup using anatomical images, rather than the laborious and often unreliable process of text search. This concept was developed by Fred Taute, MD, the founder of PracticeAdmin, and our initial product, icdPIX™ contains the icd-9 codes for 2010 and can be accessed here.

Accurate determination of ICD and CPT® codes reduces the labor involved while also resolving the inconsistencies in coding that arise due to human error, and minimizing the extra back end work required to resolve denied claims.

MedCodePIX presents the opportunity to evaluate this unique approach for automatically identifying and assigning correct ICD-9 codes to reports, EMR's and Insurance Claims.

Our applications will run on a Mac or a PC, and future editions will be made available to run on various handheld platforms. We are also working with various EMR and related vendors to create the functionality for MedCodePIX apps to be embedded into these systems for seamless lookup of ICD and CPT® codes which can then be returned into the medical record or claim.
